About this print: 

Grief is such a tricky feeling to place as it’s often woven amongst other feelings—love, longing, desire. It’s fused somewhere between the warmth of memories past, of loving someone deeply and feeling their warmth still vibrant and alive in you— and the future versions you were looking toward that are no longer possible, what feels like the  physical loss of imagination.  I wanted to honor feeling this deeply complex place and craft something that holds space for both.  The wildflowers of remembrance mixed with the longing for more. We have all loved and been moved by the beauty of someone we no longer can hold close so instead we hold their stories alive in our hearts and their universes in our eyes.

This piece was made in honor of the passing of my dear friend Susannah.
