Take a peek behind the scenes!

Here's a photo of my new freshly built desk in my little space located in Portland Or. This is where the magic happens! 

I have a little room I share with another artist in the entrance space to a bigger warehouse. In the room next over, theres a shared space with 6 other artists and makers. We have a painter, a small vintage biz, a leather/textile maker, a textiles artist and a ceramicist. It's really special to have such a variety of creativity all bundled into one building.  

While I love my little desk, sometimes I prefer the comfort of home. I will hunker down in the dining room where I can enjoy the sunlight and the company of my cat Spy. 

While I love my little space, I'm looking forward to the day when I can leave the soft roar of the highway and have a quiet space surrounded by nature. I miss the immediacy of natures inspiration and quiet fortitude she lends my mind. 

I'm currently in the process of building a little greenhouse in my partners yard, I'm hoping it'll be a dreamy little escape, filled with plants and a papasan and a little desk to draw at.
